LYLA SHLON
Lyla Shlon is a printmaker based in Baltimore, MD. She has a BFA in Printmaking from the Maryland Institute College of Art where she also minored in Art History, and is a Tamarind trained printer. Lyla works mostly with letterpress and lithography and enjoys the mechanics and chemistry of printmaking. Her work is often narrative and involving personal mythology.

Painted on site cataloguing the boats in Marina Grande in Sorrento, Italy. I walked 2 miles every day for 3 weeks to watch the boats come in and go out of the marina.
